Church History

In September of 1993, a group of Christian believers met with a desire to strengthen themselves and the community of Allen in Christ. These Christians met at the home of Sis. Joycie Turner under the prayer and leadership of Bro Pat Jennings and Bro. Robert Sparks. It was at that point Fellowship Baptist Church of Allen was organized.
After meeting for bible study and prayer for several weeks, it was decided that a place of worship was needed. On September 26, 1993, Fellowship Baptist Church of Allen held its first worship service at the Holiday Inn of Plano with eight families present. Worship service continued to be held at the Holiday Inn for the next 5 months.
Through prayerful deliberations and guidance of the Holy Spirit on February 13th, 1994 the church moved to 200 W. Belmont, Allen Texas.
On March 27th 1994 the members of Fellowship Baptist Church called Reverend Pat Jennings to the office of Pastor. After eight years of faithful service, Rev. Pat Jennings resigned as Pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church.
On August 4, 2002 Rev. John Wilson, III was called to serve as Pastor.
Rev. John Wilson III served as Pastor from July 2002 – August 2003.
Rev Linda Trotter was called as Interim Pastor and served from August 2003 until June 2004, through prayer and the ever merciful grace of GOD. Rev. W.L. Stafford, Sr. was called to be our Pastor in June 2004 and installed as Pastor August 2004. Fellowship has grown considerably over the past 6 years. All glory to GOD, it is one of the fastest growing churches in North Texas. In 2007 the church out grew the 200 Belmont location and began worshipping at Story Elementary, where we presently worship. In 2008 Fellowship purchased 13 ½ acres of land for the construction of Fellowship’s first building project (Fellowship Worship and Life Center).
The new facility is scheduled to be built and fully functional in 2013.
In May of 2010 GOD led Pastor Stafford to Change the name of the Church from Fellowship Baptist Church of Allen to Fellowship Christian Center Church. GOD has continued to Equip, Elevate and Empower us since. To date F3C has 30 vibrant ministries that are making a spiritual difference in the church and in the community.
