Community Life Line

For most of us, life is a fairly even flow of obligations, punctuated by the occasional unexpected event. But, for some – and it could easily be someone we know- the unexpected becomes overwhelming. Illness, separation, job loss, family crisis: events that make getting from point A to point B impossible without assistance.

That’s when Community Lifeline Center steps in: assisting local residents manage short term crises and navigate their way back to self-sufficiency. This assistance ranges from financial help – rent, utilities, food, gas cards- to medical or prescription assistance, counsel, job search training, credit and budget counseling and advocacy. Community Lifeline Center also promotes special projects throughout the year such as collecting and distributing school supplies and holiday meals. Community Lifeline Center exists because a community stands tallest when it kneels to offer a helping hand.
